Recently I heard a quote from Michael Batnick, 'some lessons have to be experienced before they can be understood' and with this Caroline's writing I can relate few experiences:
- The place in the body where you feel something, most of the time I have hard time connecting with my body, particularly in therapy sessions when I am supposed to feel in my body where the emotions and memories are felt.
- Acupuncture, I have to confess I am so coward with pain and always reluctant to tried it. Believe or not, the needles felt so good, no pain at all, I wish I woud find someday the words to describe it.
What I love the most about reading Caroline's poetry is the story about how She came out with every piece, I get transported and immersed in the process, this particular one took me on a kind of meditation exercise, feeling in my body.
Thank you Caro for one me time you are delighting with your creative process.
Also, the other day my husband suggested I might consider documenting and sharing my culinary creations, either in videos or digital booklet..maybe I join you in the courses you mentioned.
And last but not least, how are you doing with Aba Pan: Recetario poético?
Indeed the body is the first place where creation, in general, is experienced. Without a body that aches, stretches or walks or sleeps, I couldn’t create. And exploring that realm: body and creation is never ending. So, I agree with Michael Batnick!
I would love to hear about your recipes! Please let me know if you do the courses at Domestika, so we can share our insights :D and regarding Aba Pan Recetario, there are news! But I rather tell about them when the time is right!
Thank you very much for reading and taking the time to feel how this poem was created. You have completed the whole creative process I am trying to share here.
